Now Playing: Day 3047-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

2 years to this very date.. I remember my very first oncology treatment like it was just yesterday. The anxiety... yet excitement of possibly being cured. The chance and possibility to be able to finish oncology treatments and maximum radiation therapy in order to walk through those doors of oncology as a winner... a survivor.

2 years to this very date.. I may have been unsuccessful with oncology treatments and trying to control my medical destiny. But through the experience... trials and tribulations...

I have gained so much more.

Although I would never wish cancer nor the demise that faces those who aren't successful after maximum oncology treatments nor have the ability to walk back out those oncology doors as a winner. We still somehow seem to find a way to survive.

You and I... we are still doing our damnedest to thrive and live each and every day that we are gifted by the grace of God....

That my friends is the epitome of the truest of true Survivors.

~Kimberly

COOKIN' WITH LITTLE OLE ME~ QUINOA :)
Mood:  hungry
Now Playing: Day 3047-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

                        HOWDY FOLKS!

It's time once again for another episode of

COOKIN' WITH LITTLE OLE ME...

COOKIN_WITHLITTLEOLEME_QUINOA2.jpg

right here in the country!

This evening we have another little healthy hearty dish that's really easy and affordable for all you folks and even your family.

"Quinoa"

Quinoa with diced cucumbers, onion, dill, black pepper and some other little spices to kick it up a few notches!

Quinoa is packed with nine essential amino acids, high in fiber and all sorts of the good stuff to help keep us fit and feelin young!

In fact... here are a few reasons why this hardy little grain should be part of your daily diet:

8 grams of fiber means you'll be staying regular without feelin the old bloat

One little cup packs 8 grams of protein to build those muscles to show off while laying poolside this summer

Quinoa is non-GMO, gluten-free and grown organically

This little plant that produces such a hardy grain is known to have all sorts of beneficial effects on your overall health

Once again... gluten-free which means it's perfect for people with gluten intolerance

Did I say it again?.. like a Britney Spears song... Quinoa is high in protein and packs nine essential amino acids and then some!

You know...

I could really just keep going on and on about all the benefits of introducing a little cup or bowl of Quinoa to your daily diet... but instead I think you just need to go get yourself some...

Uncle... Video... Business
Mood:  bright
Now Playing: Day 3045-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

This is one of two videos I had to separate after making some connections the other night due to the files being far too large to upload.

20180420_033046_resized_1.jpg

There has been nothing edited altered or added to the video that was taken on a standard cell phone. I'm also attaching the public flyer if anyone has any information or would like to submit anonymously.

20180420_033104_resized_1.jpgI had connected with this family member many times over the past few years. He is actually the brother of an uncle that is now together in heaven after a brave battle with cancer. My connections are of those in which I am not sure I would ever be able to explain... when you are able to connect with loved ones that began at a very young age.

I call the ability to connect... a gift.

In this video you will see a beaming, bright, radiating light on the right side of the video frame when mentioning his name. Ironically that same light apppeared last week when connecting with my grandmother that not only was on the right side of the frame, but also came across the front of the video frame and to the left side as if taking a seat next to me. We never had this happen any time prior nor does it constantly appear or stay in frame when utilizing any equipment... it can not be logically explained. A gentleman in California whom has far more expertise in analysing videos as part of his job working with high profile cases sent me a message regarding the video with my grandmother. After reviewing the video again on better speakers... it is most definitely her voice saying, "Yes or Yea," after acknowledging that she was connecting with me. I was also sent information about angels that guide you, protect you and communication with you.

Could this be very much what I am experiencing and can not be explained?.

Chaka

The purple angel light ray corresponds to the sacral chakra, which is located in the lower abdomen of the human body. Some people say that the spiritual energy from angels that flows into the body may help them physically (such as by helping to treat reproductive problems, urinary conditions, digestive conditions, digestive problems, and health issues related to areas of the body like the spleen, gallbladder, pelvis, lower back and pancreas), and spiritually (learning how to let go of trying to control their own lives and trusting God to guide them, and choosing right over wrong when making decisions).

It's really quite strange... a beautiful strange... when signs appear right in front of your very own eyes when least expected...

But always for reason... this I do believe.

These little bite-size chocolate morsels are not only organic... but are oh-so-good for the tummy...

We are finally enjoying some rain-free weather here in the country while finishing up the little details that make a great repairing, repainting living room project PERFECTO... COMPLETE!

And of course why not have a few good belly laughs while we're at it! Hehehehehehehe!

I am back with hospital oncology later this week in order to stay at least half a foot ahead of an ongoing medical battle... cancer. I really don't want to know how much larger the tumors have grown since last rescan over 4 months ago... however... sometimes you just have to suck it up buttercup!

At least for now we can enjoy the rest of this absolutely beautiful, glorious, wonderful

How Does Mary's Garden Grow?..
Mood:  surprised
Now Playing: Day 3038-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

Just because... it reached 82 degrees today here in the country...

Looks like Mary's garden is doing quite well so early in the season with our first official spring bloom!

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

It's going to be a very busy spring and summer as we make our way outdoors to quite a few projects that will need our dire attention. That includes trying to find this 'sinkhole' flagged to us by a neighbor that was 'supposed' to be filled by the prior owners... hmmmmm... we will see about this additional little lemon gem!

I am scheduled to see my oncologist tomorrow so they can re-evaluate everything including the ovarian tumors. That includes my cardiologist who has been flagged by the company that is monitoring my heart after experiencing quite a few episodes over the past 24-hours. At least this could possible be good news so they can continue on the path of getting me stable as possible. It's actually been nice to just step outdoors and enjoy a bit of this super nice weather... rain-free... but still I must be careful not to overstep my limits. We aren't so sure about biking this year along the many trails. But at least I was able to take in a little walk this evening. Needless to say I have a long ways to go just yet...

1... 2... 3... In Need Of Z's...
Mood:  spacey
Now Playing: Day 3037-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

Here we are... almost 48-hours with the inability to actually be able to sleep... any type of decent sleep.

Between Eric making Walmart runs in attempt to find some sort of over the counter remedy and my snazzy heart monitor sending alerts from the kind folks who are watching over my beats per minute... lack of sleep. I am beyond exhausted and it's starting to catch up with me.

If one was smart.. they would just head up to the emergency room for some assistance to be pleasantly knocked out to catch some zzzzz's. But instead... I am trying my best to see if I can remedy my own lack of sleep without hospital assistance. It has not been an easy nor very successful feat so far by any means. Not when your entire body is so out of whack and that's putting it lightly.

So... after a few calls to my specialists who are managing my care at the current moment. They have me scheduled at their office to see them Thursday morning or earlier if I cannot finally get some sleep.

In the meantime... at least I'll be able to let you know which Sleepytime tea will hopefully work for me.

Signed,

In NEED of zzzz's~

A SUPER Day Calls For A SUPER Ice Cream! ;)
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: Day 3036-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

20180430_001703_resized.jpg

HAHAHAHAHA!

Folks you just can't make stuff up like this ice cream we literally found at our local Walmart. We both had to do a double take... then I took one look at Eric and he knew what was next as it literally made for one heck of a hilarious video! Even a funnier photo opportunity as Eric had no choice in the matter... hehehehehehe!

I have never seen a Walmart store like here in the country that carries so many test market products. Anything and everything that I believe the Walmart department buyers can get ahold of seems to make their way to this Indiana Walmart location. I have never seen so many different varieties of seasonings, salad dressings, BBQ sauces, ice cream, potato chips, cereal, donuts, baked goods and everything else that isn't good for you.

They say that food tastes better in the country... and it most definitely makes for far bigger waist lines too!

If you are a bit on the skinny side... as we both must admit... not saying that makes you the healthiest because that's far from the truth. But at least we now know where to live if you want to gain a few pounds or 2 or 10 or 20. Just hop on over the state line to Indiana and visit Walmart here in the country!

You know... a super day does call for a super ice cream...

Still too darn f-u-n-n-y!!!

A Million Thoughts Running Through My Mind=DANGEROUS!
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: Day 3035-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

You know what happens when you have way too many thoughts running through your mind? You realize that the load of wash that you just placed in the washing machine... a very large load of wash that is getting ready to start the first cycle has your $6,000+ 24-hour heart monitor piece of equipment in it.

I may not have passed a stress test running on the treadmill at the hospital in front of my cardiologist.... more like... in need of my cardiologists assistance to get off the treadmill. But needless to say I sure the hell wasted no time getting as quickly as I could to that running washing machine after I realized holy **** did I drop that in the washing machine?!!!Surprised!?!!!

I don't know how... and I definitely don't know why I was able to successfully retrieve the equipment out of the washing machine that was already beginning the first cycle full to capacity of water and laundry detergent. Not one single drop of water was on that piece of equipment.

Yeah... I am about as dumbUndecidedfounded as you are reading this!

Needless to say... having a million things on your mind can be a dangerous thing. It can also possibly be one hell of a very expensive thing.

The rest of the day I decided that I better just take it easy... even deciding to look a little bit more like myself instead of Casper the Friendly Ghost for the camera... sharing a smile which is a heck of a lot better than the frown I could have had with an expensive damaged piece of equipment on my hands.

*CLAPPING*
