Mood: on fire
Now Playing: Day 2934-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining
Tomorrow it's back to the surgeons office. Both surgeons offices. Time to receive a first and second of both surgical re-checks. I have been on far-too-many rounds of antibiotics for my liking. Far too many stomach aches and the inability to consume much of anything while still remaining on antibiotics. Literally forcing protein shake after protein shake. Hopefully at least keeping me on various antibiotics over the past few weeks will pay off as far as a much quicker healing time!
With the need to clear my mind before tomorrows appointments... tis a GREAT day to BAKE!
One thing that this gal has never made before... at least as far as I can remember... is Rice Krispy Treats~YUMMY! This is really suppose to be a self-explanatory, quick and easy recipe. Even a kid can make it! But of course, why make an easy recipe? I rather make mine with a twist!
Adding 3/4 cup of shredded coconut, melted white, mint and dark chocolate organic cocoa chips and a dash of tiny gold sprinkles! I may have to attempt this recipe a second time around after forgetting to let the melted marshmallows cool off a bit. What white, mint and dark chocolate organic cocoa chips and tiny gold sprinkles? They literally all melted into the hot marshmallows and Rice Krispies. OOPSIE!
At least they fit perfectly in the new storage containers. How appropriately themed for me! Hehehehehe! Maybe the deer would had enjoyed a few treats? Nah! Eric will most likely devour them before even standing a chance to place a few outside on the deer feeding station. Hahahahaha! I learned a great deal from a very simple recipe. Let it cool before placing any type of ingredients that will easily melt upon heat! No need to share this recipe. Yes... it is pretty much self-explanatory. Or at least it should had been for me... hahahahaha! Minus the cute deer themed storage containers. That was a Christmas gift for little ole me.
What I still have yet to accomplish is setting my sights high with my drone that I received last year, November for my birthday. At least I do far better as a drone pilot, compared to crash after crash pilot Eric. HA! This evening I was finally able to maneuver the drone around the entire basement in mid-air. Once the snow clears, it's time to take this drone outdoors in hopes of learning to take some really neat high altitude photos of life here in the country! By the end of summer, I should be ready to take this drone out west to photograph the beautiful red rock mountains and miles upon miles of endless desert... I can't wait!
