Today is Super Bowl Sunday!
What's that?.
I can't remember the last time that I actually watched the Super Bowl?. I know... When Janet Jackson had the famous wardrobe malfunction. Hahahahaha! I also remember that I was the only one at a Super Bowl party actually watching the half-time show that should had instead been called, "The Half-Shirt show." BAH! Heeheeheehee...
All the hype about Lady Gaga got the best of me this evening. While catching up on far too many emails and a few blogs. Eric began watching the Super Bowl that we had to set on our DVR since we weren't at home, nor in state to watch it. Talking about taking a run to the border! We mastered driving to Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. All in less than 2 hours! I doubt we will ever attempt that one again... I was never one for being rushed. What Lady Gaga lacked, was her usual high-energy, spunky, spit-fire self. Eric said, that maybe being on tour with Tony Bennett might had changed her high-energy tune. Don't believe the hype~
Call me crazy, but where was our new President? I didn't see him in the stands at the Super Bowl, but we sure did see Indiana Governor, now turned Vice-President, Mike Pence. Lordie! Help the guy if he ever has to take over as our President with the mess that Trump has created in just a mere 2 weeks in office! There isn't enough money in this world to straighten out the gosh awful mess and the hatred caused in a mere 2 weeks. We are two folks that can't be blamed for Trump. We weren't in Indiana long enough in order to vote after just moving here a mere month before the Presidential election. Like I said... I like Donald Trump. Like... In the board room on Celebrity Apprentice.
Even Littleblue has her opinion about how our new President is handling the used to be, great USA. Hahahahaha! Too darn funny!
After a really long weekend, it's back to another Manic Monday come early tomorrow morning. It's also back to work for Eric after having to utilize a few FMLA days for obvious reasons. Or... As some have told us on the phone and those who sent me 'FYI' text messages this week, "It's constantly something." And... "You do it yourself." Yea, those comments, mere... not very smart opinions, didn't go over so well with myself or Eric. "Constantly something" or "Doing it yourself," isn't something at all that anyone asks for with being sick. I would much rather constantly tell you how many vacations and historical sites we have visited in a mere few months. Travel that I actually enjoy, "Doing it yourself." Life happens. What matters the most is how you handle LIFE when it HAPPENS. As well the very rude comments from others when LIFE HAPPENS beyond your control. *Applauds*
Speaking of life and random things in life...
We picked up a new flavor of the super yummy 'Artic Zero-Fit Frozen Desserts' this evening at our local grocery retailer!
~Cookie Dough Chip~
Will let you know how that tastes tomorrow!
