The Road Before & After Surgery

Introducing... The SURGEON
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: Day 3071-Chapter 3... Happiness~My Silver Lining

Well... I'll be a slice of cornbread and biscuits!

Who we have here...

Introducing... The Surgeon?

It's been a pretty eye-opening day that started this morning once I had called the hospital and my specialists office to cancel everything. Of course they have their concerns... however moving forward everything is pretty much left up to my discretion because things have never gotten better only worse. Same as with the last and most recent surgery trying to figure out issues with damage caused by radiation therapy. The surgeon had to vacate surgery once they got in with the scope because things were past the point of any further options.

So... after having a little heart-to-heart on the phone this morning. My specialist has me coming in early next week to discuss things and have offered me another surgical date later next week.

Between having some very vivid dreams and symptoms that are a bit disheartening along with not feeling. I do not feel physically ready to endure any type of surgical procedure... this might be for everyone's best interest. If you ask me will I even move forward with surgery next week? Right now... I would have to say no. So it's a good thing to give myself a little bit of extra time because we all know our body better than anyone on the face of this Earth and that includes any doctor... any surgeon or any Mayo Clinic.

Till then... there's always room for smiles and

oh-so-much laughter!
