This was just too darn FUNNY not to share with almost 1.5 million readers! Oh yea... Eric had an extreme blond moment!

A bit down east of us, along the river is where the first Whiskey City Regatta will be taking place next month. Typically the regattas take place in our little, lazy, river town. But due to construction, they haven't held any type of regatta in quite a few years. Instead, they have been taking place at a neighboring site. Another little, lazy, river town. Lately we have been noticing quite a lot of advertisement starting to show up around our area regarding the first Whiskey City Regatta.

Mind you... What Eric thought this event was about couldn't be anything further than the truth! Hahahahaha!

Instead of writing about what Eric's response to what the Whiskey City Regatta is all about. I decided to just let our text messages do a-l-l the talking! Heeheeheeheehee! For those who are going to be attending or traveling to the event next month. Whiskey or no whiskey... Hahahahaha!

Me: Hey, maybe we should check out the Whiskey City Regatta next month. Have you seen all of the promotional signs on the main drag going into town?

Eric: Whiskey City Regatta? What's that?

Me: Have you ever been to a regatta?

Eric: OH. Is that where they bring in all sorts of whiskey into town on boats?

Me laughing and yet still laughing as I am typing this blog! HAHAHAHA!

Me: LOLOLOLOLOLOL~LMAO!!!!!

Eric: What?

Me: OMG! Nooooo! It's where they race boats. Speed boats! You know... Professional drivers who race speed boats and they make it a big event with vendors, etc. It's not boats that come into town carrying whiskey! Hahahahaha!

Eric: Lol oh

Me: I'm still laughing!!!!! You were so serious too! I don't care who you are that there is funny!

Then I decided to add my own funny Eric spin on him really believing the Whiskey City Regatta was an event where boats from all over the United States bring in different kinds of whiskey~

Me: Hark! See that there ship! That there carries the dark whiskey!

Me: And that little tugboat there. That there carries the little whiskey!

Me: What about there!? What about there pa? What does that big barge carry?.

Me: Why... That there carries all sorts of whiskey son!

Me: But Dad, why do they have all these racing boats if they're supposed to carry whiskey to all of us in the crowd?

Me: Son, the faster they get the whiskey to us, the faster we all be drunk!

Me: And that's the story behind the Whiskey Regatta. A version...for Eric anyways...
