I fully understand how it feels to be treated as less of a human being.
To feel as less of a person.
All because of something you can not control.
Your health.
For those asking about how the end result turned out... I never got to realize that happy ending. The ability to smile again. Instead... my prior surgeons hard work and placing me into the next level of care? The ending of this video is what I am left to accept. I plan to share more at a later time. For now, I am trying to make peace with what is.
I am thankful for all the photos of far happier times in my life. Not realizing how easy it was back then, just to smile.
