Topic: You Have NO Idea!
So.... here I am almost 72 hours later post-surgical and a record over four and a half hours under some serious anesthesia... the most peaceful feeling in which one I will never fully be able to accurately explain.
I remember that part being under and going somewhere that provided the most peace and Tranquility I've ever felt in my entire life... yet I could not stay it was not my time.
So... instead of two hours being in the hands of a truly remarkable team... it turned into an almost five hour ordeal.
I have never really fully understood how strong and brave I truly am... and at times I believe I underestimate my strength to overcome the odds.
Sure... I have upcoming cosmetic work that'll need to be done to correct my smile due to my specialist running into far more problems than they initially anticipated... but sometimes in life the unexpected happens.
How you handle the unexpected and your attitude that comes with it truly makes you stronger and braver than you'll ever know!
I've been resting a lot... I've been sleeping a lot... I'm allowing my body the time it needs to slowly awaken and continue to recover which means finally getting back on my home treadmill right now early this Sunday morning.
Blessed? You bet! Aren't we all?.
